Today we are spending the day at my grandma’s house with
family for a wonderful home cooked meal and great conversation.
I love this time of year with what is remaining of the fall colors and a little
bit of a chill in the air. It is a
reminder of all of the things I have to be thankful for in my life.
I am thankful for...
- My husband - who agrees to help me with all of the crazy ideas I come up with
- My family - who has been there for me through everything
- Our homestead - though it's not picture perfect, it's ours
- Our animals - who make us laugh on a daily basis and provide free-entertainment without having to turn on the tube

Whatever they are, I pray that you are safe and have a

I am thankful that my only problems are financial ones - as those can be totally overcome!!
ReplyDeleteAnd That is a great turkey photo! Now I am wondering if in 2013 you should get turkeys so you can get your own in time for Thanksgiving next year?! It would be more fresh than the freshest of fresh that way. :)

DeleteI am sorry to hear about your financial issues but I love your attitude about overcoming them. There are some great resources out there to help you get out of debt. And you may be playing with fire when you suggest the turkey! :-) I have a post that will be going up one of these days about our experience butchering the chickens. I'm not sure we could handle a 10-15+ lb turkey! Lol. I would be lieing if I told you I hadnt thought about it, though.
